By creating an account or using GimmeStar ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. GimmeStar is operated by GimmeStar ("we", "us", "our").
GimmeStar provides tools for local businesses to collect customer feedback and Google reviews, including branded review pages, QR code generation, feedback routing, and analytics dashboards.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. One business per account during Early Access (unless otherwise specified).
You agree not to:
GimmeStar offers two review routing modes: Direct mode and Smart Routing mode. Direct mode sends all customers to Google Reviews regardless of their rating. Smart Routing mode directs customers who indicate lower satisfaction to a private feedback form.
If you enable Smart Routing, you acknowledge that this feature may conflict with Google's review policies. You accept full responsibility for any consequences to your Google Business Profile. GimmeStar is not responsible for any actions taken by Google against your business profile as a result of using this feature.
During the Early Access period, all features are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. Early Access users will be notified before any pricing changes take effect and may receive preferential pricing or extended free access.
You retain ownership of all content you provide (business information, logos, customizations). You grant us a limited license to display this content as part of the Service (e.g., on your branded review page).
Customer feedback and ratings collected through the Service are stored on your behalf. You are responsible for how you use this data, including compliance with applicable privacy laws.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GimmeStar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
